Grimlock Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Thanks for having a look at my advice request! Situation: I have a book I'm building and it contains several chapters and sub chapters. On the spread, left page header I want to put the chapter name, and on the right page, the chapter sub section. I'm aware of the option: Text > Insert > Fields > Section Name, but that's somewhat limited. Ideally, if there was a way to make a text box target and display the contents of another text box, kind of like how you can do it in Excel with the "=" sign. I could do it with dozens of master pages, but if I can just get it to target and repeat text from another text box, independent of dozens of master pages, that would be ideal. Is it even possible in Publisher? My researching this has been difficult since I don't know what term to use, and most YouTube tutorials target the basics. Quote

If you use a text style for the chapter name and another one for its subsections, you could use Running header fields.
