AFAIK, 10.15.7 (build 19H2026) is the latest (& last) Catalina version, as shown on my iMac in the Apple > About This Mac window:

(Although MacTracker says the last 10.5.7 build was 19H524.)

EDIT: I left out the most important part, which is all 3 Affinity apps worked fine for me in every version of Catalina I have used, including the current version.

I’m not surprised! 19H2026 looks like something due for release next year, and 19H524 suggests a rather unlikely 1501 years ago.

Thanks! I tried but the installer ends up in a error message.

I haven't run a MacOS beta since the Mac OS X 10.0 Public Beta days (has it been 25 years?!) so I'm afraid I can't help much.

Some other things to try:

• Manually create a bootable installer on a USB stick; there are online tutorials, e.g. at macworld.com if I remember correctly. Then try to install over the current installation. This method might work better.
• Clone your current installation onto an external drive as a bootable backup (make sure to test it first that it's bootable!), then wipe the drive and clean install, then migrate your data from the backup. Been there done that many times, e.g. when replacing the internal HD with a modern fast SSD. My pick for bootable drive cloning: SuperDuper app from shirt-pocket.com

Is this a version 'hacked' to run on otherwise unsupported hardware? Either way, what does the Catalina installer error message say?

Dont remember what the message said, it was generi, like, Error installing, or something like that. I dont think it's "hacked" but i found it on The pirate bay because at the moment the installelr from apple wasnt available.

Should i just buy Affinity Photo and hope it works? I will eventually get a new computer anyway..

??? Do not trust anything on pirate bay to be a legitimate version of any software product, or free of malware!!! It is almost certainly hacked, often badly enough that it won't even install without triggering a warning that it is suspicious. That sounds a bit like the "error" message you got.

Besides, the V2 Affinity apps have been available for purchase from the Apple Store or the Affinity Store since the first day they were released. You can also download & run the trial versions from the Affinity Store, like @Alfred mentioned.

In this case, it makes more sense to completely remove the beta/pirated copy of macOS and perform a clean install (not just an update) using an official macOS full installer. To do this, you will need to copy the installer's .dmg file to a bootable drive (disk or stick) with the goal to initialize (reformat, delete) the current system volume before installing.

If the hard drive has enough free space, there's no need to reformat. On Catalina (and higher), you can simply create a new APFS volume with Disk Utility and install the new OS on it. Then you migrate your data from the old volume. Then you can delete the old volume. The volume size will adapt dynamically. (That's the beauty of APFS! )

Folks, we don't know the "whole story", so… meh.

In any case, it's not "illegal" to download a MacOS version directly from Apple servers and install it on a compatible Mac that a user owns.
Here's a 3rd party website with direct links to Apple CDN servers, listing most of the MacOS install packages from Sequoia back to Lion:

It appears that the OP was talking about downloading the Affinity software from Pirate Bay, not the macOS.
