I record a macro with the following steps:

1. Invert selection
2. Cut
3. Select all
4. Delete
5. Paste
6. Crop Picture (Leinwand begrenzen)
7. Resize Picture (Dokumentgröße ändern)

Problem: At point 5. it always pastes the image with which I recorded the macro. That makes batch editing a bit complicated...
Any tips for me?

That is the way that the Affinity macros work. Many have commented on this, but there is no sign of a solution from Serif.

Sometimes there is a workaround using layers. I cannot see such a workaround in your case, but if you could explain in detail how you want your macro to perform, then someone might come up with a solution.

Oh, that's a shame. Recording a full image instead of CTRL+C and CTRL+V seems a bit unlogic to me but who am I to doubt the grand plan? ☺️

Thanks, @John Rostron, I'll find another solution.

I have run into the same issue, I have posted about it, I have requested help, nothing.
There is no way to petition affinity to correct that UX problem....it's a little sad
