Apple Magic Mouse 2 and Eraser Tool deletes when mouse button not clicked

As the title suggests, and this is after a disconnect / reconnection / rebuild of the Affinity software etc. etc.

Click the eraser tool, move the mouse and it randomly deletes as the mouse is moving 'without' clicking the mouse pointer to action the deletion

I've not been able to replicate this, I only see a brush preview when moving the mouse; it's not physically erasing anything...

Could you upload a quick screen recording showing your whole screen so we can see what you're seeing?

Happy to do this, but in typical fashion, it suddenly now 'isn't' doing this ... so I'll gladly make a short movie, but when it occurs again.

In the meantime, it's exactly this same issue as this:

Very strange, isn't that always the way... Do let us know if it does happen again...

Certainly will.

I initially turned to the device, cleaned it - reset it, checked settings etc. Then refreshed / reset Affinity etc. etc.

Still the same, then poof as you asked me to make a video.

I hope it never returns, but it's happened a few times so I shall return.

If it happens again, I'll just ask you to make a video, and it will probably go away again... 😅
