Publisher freezes when placing photo files in the document

I just started using Affinity Publisher version 2.6.2, and when I use the Place Tool, the program freezes or is incredibly slow. I've already shut the program down and even restarted my computer, and it's still freezing. Please help.

Hi @CBolton,

Are these freezes on file placement document specific, or can you replicate the issue when placing these same resources on a new empty document? Does changing the placement policy in Document Setup -> Model have any impact?
