Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the Pro Raw import (DNG files) of Iphone 16 pro max, which in Affinity Photo version 2.6.2 are not imported and it gives me the following note: Error: "The file type is not supported".

I take my photos with the following settings on my Iphone camera: ProRaw Max JPEG-XL Lossless format.

If instead change the shooting format, ProRAW Max (JPEG Lossless) the file opens correctly in Persona Photo.

I have been using Capture One Pro in trial version for a few months and loaded the DNG files then, if necessary, I export a TIFF file and open it from Affinity Photo.

Is it possible that there is no way to do this with Affinity Photo?

Hi @donato970,

Can confirm I've replicated this issue with JPEG Lossless mode .DNG file shot on an iPhone 16.

According to the official RAW support list, the LibRAW engine doesn't yet 'officially' support the iPhone 16, though that said I can open the other PRORAW formats fine on Windows- and all three open as expected on MacOS, I'll get this logged with the developers.
