Feature Request: Improvement Suggestion for Affinity Photo 2

Dear Affinity Team,

First of all, thank you so much for creating such a high-quality and professional product — it's an incredible tool, and I truly appreciate your work.

One feature that I feel is currently missing — and would be extremely helpful — is the ability to apply a clipping mask directly to a layer group (folder).

For example, I often need to apply a texture over an entire group of layers. At the moment, I have to apply the texture as a clipping mask to each individual layer inside the group. This makes it difficult to adjust the texture uniformly across the whole group, especially when fine-tuning the position or scale.

Currently, if I try to clip a texture to a group, Affinity Photo treats it as a standard mask rather than using the layer’s content as a clipping mask. This limits flexibility and slows down the workflow.

I believe adding support for clipping masks on groups would greatly improve the workflow for many users working with complex compositions.
