Pmanucr Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I'm attempting to create a large image that can printed at roughly 36"x36" so the image is large. That might be part of my issues. I'm following the affinity photo youtube tutorial for moon editing titled "Moon Processing Workflow (Affinity Photo)" I've ended up with a photo I'm pretty happy with. But when I flatten, export, merge visible, etc. The image changes quite a bit. Everything becomes muted (colors, texture, details). I'm not sure what to do? ACDesignStudio 1 Quote
Pmanucr Posted April 14 Author Posted April 14 I've been playing with it all day. No luck so far. Any suggestions??? ACDesignStudio 1 Quote

NotMyFault Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Use zoom level 100% for all screenshots and try to show the same area, e.g. upper left corner or center of image (include part of moon and black background) Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. Alfred Posted April 14 Posted April 14 What ‘Quality’ percentage did you set for exporting the image? JPEG is notoriously ‘lossy’ at the low quality (i.e. high compression) end of the scale. If you are merging, flattened etc images that have non-integer X/Y or W/H values, that can cause blurring/fuzziness issues Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. ACDesignStudio Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I'm having the same problem. PNG, flattened or not, exports muted colors and dull whites in AP. I've read around the forum, watched the shared vids and tried the suggested settings changes. Nothing has worked. Quote Designing, Arting, Writing, Crafting, Lover of the Creative Life Linktr.ee
NotMyFault Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Please upload a test document. We need to see which color format and profile is used.
