Robert Gibson PWES Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Hi guys - Question... Do you know how, in Word, you can press Ctrl when you're clicking on a line in the ToC to go there? Is there something like that in Affinity? If not I think it would be a cool little add on. My client has weird capitalization on his titles, which I didn't realize until I generated the ToC, which shows the titles as they are (since the titles actually have Small Caps enabled. This means I have to go to each chapter title and change them manually, but I always have to scroll back up to the ToC to see if I missed any. It'd be cool to just use the ToC like a hyperlink and jump to the page I want. Is that possible? Quote
MikeTO Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Hi Robert, Affinity doesn't have this feature. I agree it would be a nice addition, I use it all the time in MS Word, too. The best way to find those headings is with the Anchors panel or Find and Replace. You could consider opening a second view (View > New View). Keep one view set to the TOC pages and another view set to where you are in the document. Then when you update the TOC you can see the effects without changing the page you're working on. I use this approach while indexing.
