R.I.P. Affinity 26.03.2024 Posted April 12 Posted April 12 27.03.24 you had send every user an email with 4 pledges. The pledge number 2 was about making features in a year: Quote 2. We will double down on expanding Affinity’s products through continued investment in Affinity as a standalone product suite. We’re looking forward to accelerating the rollout of highly requested features such as variable font support, blend and width tools, auto object selection, multi-page spreads, ePub export and much more. These additions will further cement Affinity as the best advanced design suite on the market and will be released over the coming year as free updates to V2. It's been a year already. And we got some features you have promised in that very email. Some of them work poor, like width tool, some are nice, like variable font support. But 2 had no sign about 2: Blend tool and ePub export. Is it even coming in 2.7? And I am not even asking about what was behind "much more". Probably nothing. Its been a year and Canva haven't even mentioned you on that Canva even last week. Quote Ain’t nobody acquiring us 😎
