LionelD Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Prompted by other discussions, I’m posting this information in the hope it’s helpful. First, for MacBook users: I took a brief look at Apple’s ColorSynch app (in the MBP Utilities folder). My cursory experiments suggest they did a good job with it - you can even convert a color from one profile to another with whichever rendering intent you need. So, if you ever need to convert a specific color from one profile to another, you might find this useful. More generally: the information about rendering intent at https://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/color-space-conversion.htm is one of the best discussions I’ve seen. Hope that is helpful. R C-R Posted April 12 Posted April 12 FWIW, that Cambridge in Colour web site is full of very useful & easily understandable info about all sorts of color management, using cameras, editing & processing images, & so on. I suggest bookmarking https://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials.htm for future reference.
