Color issues importing and exporting in Affinity Photo

Whenever I import an image into Affinity Photo the colors are dulled. Then when I export it looks like there is a grey overlay on the image. I"m attached an example. The brightest image is what it should be. The duller one is what it looks like. The final one is an export. This never happened until recently and I can't figure out what it is. I've tried changing the color profile and it doesn't do anything. All help is appreciated.

@rtteachr Can you provide the source image you're opening zipped up? As well as confirming your Export settings, as it may relate to the colour profile/format.
