Somewhere in chapter 1 is the following text: More information on this topic can be found on page number 207 where "207" is a reference to the page number on which the information can be found, and which actually points to an anchor or some such. This is what cross-references are for: choose Text > Insert Cross-Reference or open the Cross-References panel and click the Insert Cross-Reference button.
