Sometimes, when I add text inside my Assets, the horizontal scale becomes 282%.

UI problem

Real designers who work with assets have difficulty adding or deleting assets. We need fixed buttons on the top, especially when we have many assets. It kills my time to scroll up, then click on the hamburger menu, and then click on "Add from Selection".

Logged as bug AF-4295, and not yet fixed.

It would be better to post that improvement request in the Feedback & Suggestions forum, I think.

But in case it helps:

  • If you right-click on an Asset you'll find a Delete option in the right-click context menu.
  • For Add, you can use the Move Tool to drag an item onto the Assets panel.

Thanks for sharing, @walt.farrell

Intresting! I didn't know that! This ability saves me time.

I remember a long time ago when I tried the drag-and-drop ability. It didn't work for me; maybe I tested on other panels like Symbols, Styles, and Character Styles. I checked now; it does work! Thank you. It seems this functionality only works on the Assets panel. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct. Only for Assets.

By the way, a long time ago this method only worked on macOS, but more recently they've enabled it on Windows, too.
