toufas Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Hello I am trying to create a print template for our menu, the design would replace a tab with dots instead of spaces. Thank you so much Quote
MikeTO Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Hi @toufas and welcome to the forums. A tab of dots (known as a dot leader) can be created by selecting (.) from the () button in the Tab Stops section of the Paragraph panel. Or click the ... button to open this popup which makes it even easier. To create a menu with dish names and right-aligned prices separated by the dot leader, click Right in the Align control, select (.) from Leader, set Position to 0, and select the From Right checkbox. toufas Posted April 11 Author Posted April 11 I want to create something like this if its possible instead of having spaces/tabs to have dots automatically (i tried what you suggested but I could not make it work) Quote
Old Bruce Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Here is a document, a Designer file but it will also open in Publisher if that is what you are using, that has two Paragraph Styles. Just have a Tab between the Steak and price and the dots will be put in automatically. menu thing.afdesign I have highlighted the important things for the leader. 26 minutes ago, toufas said: I want to create something like this if its possible instead of having spaces/tabs to have dots automatically Alfred 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.
