Hello

I am trying to create a print template for our menu, the design would replace a tab with dots instead of spaces.

Thank you so much

Hi @toufas and welcome to the forums.

A tab of dots (known as a dot leader) can be created by selecting (.) from the () button in the Tab Stops section of the Paragraph panel. Or click the ... button to open this popup which makes it even easier.

To create a menu with dish names and right-aligned prices separated by the dot leader, click Right in the Align control, select (.) from Leader, set Position to 0, and select the From Right checkbox.

Cheers

Here is a document, a Designer file but it will also open in Publisher if that is what you are using, that has two Paragraph Styles. Just have a Tab between the Steak and price and the dots will be put in automatically.

I have highlighted the important things for the leader.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
