Pretty simple. I have a single character with black fill and black outline on top of a white rectangle shape.  The color of the shape bleeds through between the stroke and fill.  All layers are Normal blend with 100% opacity.

The first image shows the stroke settings for the text of the letter M, converted to a curve and added an outline.  I thought that maybe the hairline gap between the stroke and fill would only be visible in the application, but it appears when I export the image. 

Any ideas how I can fix this? Is there a setting that's incorrect? Is it a bug?

Continued messing around and found a workaround. Change the stroke align to "stroke to center" and double the stroke width. That works because it's black on black.

This isn’t a bug, as such, but “unfortunately expected behaviour in certain circumstances”.
