cbordey Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Is it possible to send an object to the back that has been pinned? Or pin an object that is sent to the back? Screen Recording 2025-04-10 at 6.20.48 PM.mov Quote
loukash Posted April 11 Posted April 11 No. It's been requested years ago, and I have also posted a few – admittedly weird – workarounds: Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Sonoma > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 18 > Affinity v2
MikeTO Posted April 11 Posted April 11 You'd have to cut the text out of the flow and convert the rounded rectangle to a text frame. Or make that text a text object and group the rectangle and text before pinning the group. BTW it would be better to pin the rectangle inline instead of as floating so that it stays in the right place. Or tweak the design a bit and use a paragraph decoration for the text, eliminating the need to pin the rectangle at all as shown below. cbordey Posted April 13 Author Posted April 13 @loukash @MikeTO Hey, thanks for your responses. Good to know there's a workaround. I'll keep in mind for next time. I'm towards the end of the project so I'd rather not mess with it right now. Quote
