Yum Posted April 10 Posted April 10 When I try to add a border to the image like in the video, the stroke doesn’t follow the outline of the image. I need some help. Can someone please explain this to me? ScreenRecording_04-10-2025 23-08-52_1.mov Quote
Staff stokerg Posted April 25 Staff Posted April 25 Hi @Yumand Welcome to the Forums, It's because your image has a lot of empty pixels around it, you can see when you select the it on the canvas, theres a bounding box line which is what Affinity is applying the stroke to. If you switch to the Pixel Persona you can use the selection tools to select the empty area and delete them, leaving you with just the circle, you can then apply the stroke around the shape. The other option would be to use the Ellipse tool from the shapes in Affinity to create the circle, which would then allow you to apply the stroke to just the shape. Quote
