How do i create these effects and things in Affinity Photo 2?

You can really see in in the picture but the grey inside the box is semi transparent
So is there a way to create a similar effect in affinity photo
ala lets say i take a picture of a beach and i want a box like that with the semi transparent grey and hard back border in the corner, where you can still kinda see the background through the grey.

Then we have the the complete transparent text with a turquoise border. 
Is there a way to create such a thing?

Then we have the color shifting text where it goes from orange in one side shifts to purple.
how do i make such a change.

And finally semi transparent Text? 
is there a way to do it and is it the same as with the grey box?

Any help will be very much appreciated 
Also the more detailed the description the better same if there is a video on how to create such a thing it would also be appreciated.
I am also willing to buy and add any expanse needed to make it.

Text with Stroke and no Fill color?
