Hi, New here.  This may sound like a silly question but we just downloaded the trial for Affinity V2 Universal License.

I'm not seeing how we can open affinity photo though?   Is it opened through affinity designer or something?

the trial showed "designer" "publisher" and "photo" so i assume its in there?

thanks

If you have registered for the trial version, you should receive a confirmation email, if I remember correctly.
This email should contain a link to the downloads.

It is not necessary to have all three programmes of the suite installed to test just one of them, but it is necessary if you want to access Affinity Photo functions via Pixel Persona in Affinity Designer, for example.

No, if you installed the Universal licence, you have effectively installed 3 separate programs (apps) that can all run independently of each other

Not sure what OS you have installed them on but on Windows you would have 3 separate entries in the Start menu or 3 separate desktop icons

Note: Although you have 3 separate programs, they do have advanced features that allow you to switch seamlessly between them but that is not required if you just want to run one of the programs

In the Start menu, start typing...

Affinity

and see if the other Affinity apps show up

If so select them (individually) and add to your Start menu for future use

I'm not sure, but AFAIK you have to download and install each product separately. Your first screenshot only points to the universal license that covers all products.

Also the product icon in your last screenshot does not look correct.

Because of the dogeared corner it looks like a document icon to me.
