NikoPo Posted April 8 Posted April 8 After working for some time in Affinity Photo for Mac (currently 2.6.2), I consistently experience a bug where drag-and-drop layers stops working. When attempting to drag a layer to a new position in the Layers panel, the layer becomes “stuck”. The drag starts, but the drop is not registered, and the layer stays selected as if still being dragged. This affects both mouse/trackpad and stylus input, and appears after some time into the session, not right away. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create multiple layers. 2. Work in the document for a while (drawing, editing, zooming, switching tools, etc.). 3. Try to drag any layer to reorder it and it becomes stuck. Hardware: • Mac Mini (Apple M4, 2024) • XP-Pen Artist Pro 24 Gen 2 (USB-C) • Display resolution: 3840×2160 • macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 Quote

Staff NathanC Posted April 17 Staff Posted April 17 Welcome to the forums @NikoPo, This isn't an issue that we're able to re-produce I'm afraid, could this perhaps be related to other external input devices interfering, such as your XP-Pen tablet? If you disconnect this from your Mac, are you able to still encountering this issue? If it has no impact, could you see if you can capture it on a screen recording? Many thanks Quote
