Please see example below. Exporting to HDR with Affinity Photo results in missing pixels/ strange stripes on image.

Weird missing stripe of pixels.  Which is much worse and all over the image if I try 4k or 8K images.

I have no issues with Affinity Designer V1. But it would be ideal to my workflow to be able to use Affinity Photo V1 and export an image as an HDR image without missing pixels.

OK so some sort of file size glitch or something? As an experiment:

^Here is smiley I drew in Affinity photo. Exported to PNG with 9934 px x 14044 px. (1.66 MB)

Hi @NinjaNewbie and welcome to the forums,

Do you see the same export issue if you disable Hardware Acceleration under the Affinity Designer Performance Settings? Note: This will require a reboot of Designer?

Affinity Designer 2.6.3 | Affinity Photo 2.6.3 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.3
MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse
HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

Oh I disabled the Hardware Acceleration in the Affinity Photo settings and now the issue is gone. Thank you! @Hangman

I am confused that this happened. I have a RTX 4060 Ti.

Thanks for letting us know... Unfortunately, this is a known issue with certain setups, though I couldn't tell you which specifically...
