Affinity Photo changes language

When I install affinity photo on my iMac, I cn set the language on German. but after a couple of days, the app auto-changes the language to Englisch and I cannot change it to German. This choice is missing in the setting.

Very frustrating.  Hoe can I solve this problem??

Hi @siemon and welcome to the forums.

If you're referring to the user interface language that you set in Settings > General, are you setting it to Default (Standard in German) or specifically to German?

If it's appearing to reset, it's possible that you're running Affinity from inside the DMG instead of from the Applications folder. Did you drag the app from the DMG to Applications, then unmount (eject) the DMG and delete the DMG file?

I download the dmg file, put in de folder downloads. open in Downloads the dmg and install de App in the appfolder. 

Than I can chose de language. But after a couple of days de language automatically changes to default, English. I can than to choose for the German language. This problem occurs already for months and with every version.

Thank you. But are you unmounting the DMG after installing the app in the Apps folder? There are a number of users who do that and then run Affinity from inside the DMG. When their computer installs an update and restarts over night, the next day they lose settings because the DMG is automatically unmounted.
