Affinity Publisher- add

I like to add point to curved object with pen tool. When I click on object, point and object are selected, when I try to move with node tool point is gone, doesnt add to object. If i set new point on object path and both are selected I assume, that object has new point. How can both be selected?

You are making a new curve object with the Pen tool. Use the Node tool to add a point. Alternatively hold down the Command key while using the Pen tool to have it temporarily become the Node tool (the Pen tool will become the Node tool for as long as you hold down the Command key).
