Welcome to the forums @willko22

Where did you get the software from? (Which store/site? How did you download it?)

When did you get it? (Did you download it very recently, or was it a while ago?)

Where did you read that it was a six month trial? (What told you that the trial was for six months?)

There was a six-month trial period at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, but I don’t think the trial period has ever been more than a month since then.

Thanks for the extra information.

I’ve had a quick look through various pages of the official Affinity web site and can’t find a mention of a six month trial. (I’m not saying that it’s not there, or wasn’t when you looked, only that I can’t find it now.)

There are some threads in the forums which mention it but the forum threads are ‘historical documents’ and, as such, can sometimes become out-of-date quite quickly.

As was mentioned above, the trial period was six months for a little while but that was reduced quite some time ago.

If you can find where something says that it's still six months then I'm sure that Serif would be interested to know about it.

The six-month trial offer was announced in July 2024. I think they kept it going for several months.

If I had scrolled down the other day, I would have seen this:

Please note: This article was updated on 19 November 2024 to reflect the end of the offer.
