So on several occasions tonight, while manipulating an image, and even if I'm not, all of a sudden, the program thinks it's a briliant idea to suddenly zoom in on my picture. So this would be if I was in the middle of say, adjusting the perspective of the picture while I am draging the handles around, and suddenly, BOOM! Your image is completely ruined because of that annoying issue.

Why does it do that, and how do I stop it from happening?

Have you tried rebooting your PC?

st87: Just out of interest, concerning the title "AP1.5 randomly zooming in on canvas on its own", is there a reason why you are using Photo 1.5 rather than a later version, such as 1.10? (Is it a hardware/OS compatibility issue, or something else?)

Also, are you sure that it’s the Affinity software which is causing the problem and not the mouse (or whichever pointing device you are using)?

Three months ago @st87 made a post stating, inter alia, “I’m still running Affinity Photo 1.10.” So it looks as though the reference to version 1.5 may be erroneous.

Hi @st87,

I've not been able to replicate this in my copy of V1 on Windows.

Are you using a Mouse/touchpad or a Pen and drawing Tablet or maybe a touchscreen when altering the perspective?  If touchscreen, i wonder if its a gesture thats being picked up?
