This file no longer opens

I would check the fonts: Breamcatcher and ChiTown. I don't have them and your file opens right away on my Mac. Quit your Affinity applications and check with Font Book.

I don’t have Arial Narrow, Breamcatcher or ChiTown installed on this iPad, but AD2 only reports that Arial Narrow and Breamcatcher are missing: ChiTown isn’t mentioned. The app doesn’t hang or crash when I open the file.

Thanks for answering. I tried with and without those fonts, and reinstalling them.

The problem is there only with the latest beta on Intel platform (it hangs during file opening). With the production version, it works normally and the same with the beta on M2.

If a problem only exists in the beta, and not the commercial release, then it should be reported in the relevant beta section of the forums.

FWIW, on my Intel iMac (specs below) it opens fine in the latest betas but I do not have the missing fonts.

And FWIW here on my Intel system with the current retail version of AD the sample file just hang’s saying ‘Opening File’ without ever getting there.
I have only two of the previously mentioned fonts installed here; Breamcatcher and Arial Narrow. Disabling them before launching AD still doesn’t help either.
