AirDiamond Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I'm getting a crash each time I generate a ToC if one of the text styles included in the ToC appears on a page that's not connected to the main text flow. If I connect that text frame the main flow, the ToC generates properly without the crash. Or, if I use on the disconnected page only text styles that are not included in the ToC, it generates without a crash. Took me a while to figure this out, so I hope it helps others who might see the same thing. Affinity Publisher 2.6.2 Mac M1 Pro, Sequoia 15.3.2 Quote
MikeTO Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Hi @AirDiamond and welcome to the forums. Is this a standalone document or is it part of an Affinity Book? I don't think this is a known issue. Would you be able to share the document here? If not, please wait for Serif to respond because they might provide a private upload link. AirDiamond Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 I'm sorry, @NathanC. I didn't get back in time to upload the document. I'm happy to do that, but I think I found out how to reproduce it: Basically, if I add a new header anywhere within the text flow and update the ToC, Publisher crashes. If, instead, I delete the existing ToC and create it anew, it generates without error. Quote
Staff NathanC Posted May 1 Staff Posted May 1 Hey @AirDiamond thanks for the update, if you could still upload the document where the issue is occurring that would be helpful, as the issue is likely to be document specific, unless you can re-produce the issue from a new separate document and provide the relevant steps? Thanks Quote
