Since the last update, neither Affinity Photo 2 nor Affinity Designer 2 will open to full screen. The icon appears on the Taskbar but I am unable to open either, nor am I able to shut them down from the Taskbar. I checked the properties and the 'Run' option of the shortcut is set to 'Normal window'. If anything, the Target and Target Type seem a bit odd and I can't find the SerifEurope folder. I tried all the usual suspects .. C:\Program Files, C:\Users\****\AppData\Local etc.

 

Any help, please.

You have the sandboxed version of MSIX installed, not the standard MSI/EXE version that was available in the standard system paths listed.

Hi.

Yes, it looks like you are right. I'll take a look at that. Regarding the program not opening, I was being an idiot!! EEK! I'm almost embarrassed to tell you! ...

I have three monitors, two desktop 27" monitors and my laptop (which remains closed). So, guess what monitor they were opening on! 🤪 DOH!
