Hi,

FIRST: I have a problem with the use of dotted lines. They shorten and turn to small little squares, when I export them as an EPS, see below. (Do not bother about the color changes, please.)
In the "export preview" you can already see the unpleasant result, btw., same happens while exporting to PDF, SVG or WMF.

SECOND: In order to make it work I tried to "expand stroke", but same here. At the moment I click on the dotted line and "expand stroke" it converts all to that shortened line.

Thank you for helping,

Saludos, Nedde

Can you upload a sample document that has the problem or copy the dotted lines to a new document and upload that - if the problem still shows there?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

THAT was a good hint! :D

I found out that I turned a line into a dotted line that was EDITED before ... Hard to explain. I usually change the pressure profile of each line regarding its thickness in the stroke panel  on the right. Some line starts thick, turns slim in the middle and ends again thick. Others start thin an so on. So I can "play" with the lines without using the real pressure.

Well, The profile of the line was thick-thin-thick, not a simple solid line. THAT line now made the problem. I know now how to handle, but maybe it should show that you have to turn the line back to "solid" in order to change it to dotted.

I hope, it was understandible, not that easy to explain.

Thank you for answering so fast! You are the best! ;)
