Steps to reproduce

  • new file
  • add a vector shape
  • dublicate shape
  • add a filter layer which changes size, e.g. Gaussian blur with large radius between layers
  • wait a bit until the layer thumbnails of lower layer adjusts: the rectangle shrinks
  • deactivate blur layer

expected:

Inactive layers should not impact thumbnail

observed: Inactive layers impact thumbnail

  • extended version: duplicate inactive blur layer multiple times. Layer thumbnail shrinks with every copy
  • layer thumbnail bet correct only after certain triggers like adding another layer shape. Zooming not sufficient

I use iPad screenshots and videos even in the Desktop section of the forum when I expect no relevant difference.
