wintermute Posted April 3 Posted April 3 These overridden table attributes make me think this is a bug. Or maybe I just don’t get it… It’s the same table at the same time, so why don’t the border settings affect the bottom border? Quote
GarryP Posted April 3 Posted April 3 (edited) The example on the left says: “Every change I make to the formatting below will affect only the lower edge of the cell(s).” The example on the right says: “Every change I make to the formatting below will affect all of the edges of the cell(s).” You choose the Border icon and then change the formatting for the parts which are relevant to the selected icon. Edit: The formatting shown below the Border icons does not always reflect the formatting of the selected cell(s), for some reason (especially when there’s a mix of formatting), which can be confusing. If that doesn’t explain it then an example document, with a repeatable workflow, might be useful. Edited April 3 by GarryP Added more details. Quote

It happens once and disappears after closing the file, for example. A random bug that appears occasionally. Quote
GarryP Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I understand that it’s “random” but if you can supply an example document in which the problem can (sometimes?) be seen then we can experiment with it to see if we can replicate the problem. Otherwise it’s just ‘something wrong that happens from time to time’ and that sort of thing can be difficult to diagnose. Note: I added an extra [Edit:] line to my earlier post which you might not have seen. Does that extra description sound like what’s happening? Quote
