Need to be able to copy/cut + paste individual nodes

I have no idea how this isn’t a thing, I feel like it should have been a day one action. PLEASE make this happen, the workarounds for it are absurd!

I was surprised it wasn't there to be able to select nodes and paste the selected nodes in place.  Hope this will be an added feature.

I'm confused.  Are you talking about curve (Bezier or polyline/polygon) nodes, color gradient nodes, or what?
