Using the File > Export to PDF, or the export persona I'm having the same issue.

The document was created with a .125in bleed.

If I export the individual pages to pdf, both files have the expected bleed showing in the document.

But, if I export the whole document, the 'Front' artboard has no bleed in the resulting pdf. It doesn't matter if it's first or second in the layer stack.

This is to show the artboard DOES have artwork extending to, and past, the bleed edge.20250402@1257.png.91a9d5369da8ae4bb3267b766f034ef3.png

Hi @SG Pilgrim,

Can you try exporting the attached version of your file?

I deleted the hidden Adjustment Layers and also some of the Colour Balance ones as they were setup to do anything.  I then had to Rasterise the layer named: xx7 Beautiful Logo with Brighter Jesus and Lightening 15x15 wAdjMask.png

This then exports to PDF as a whole document with bleed.  I'm still trying to track down why this works if you just export that 1 artboard but to export the whole document, you need to do the above.  I suspect its something relating Masks somewhere in the file.

I apologize for getting back to you so late on this. I intended to do it when I saw the message come through, then it just slipped my mind.

I can confirm your process works.
Following the process above, I'm able to export the whole document at once with bleed on both pages.

With some additional testing, I found two more ways to export the whole document with bleed, and trigger the issue at will.

  1. Rasterize the xx7 Beautiful Logo layer
    1. create a query to hide adjustment layers
    2. toggle adjustment layers visibility = OFF
    3. exporting the full document with bleed succeeds
    4. toggle adjustment layers visibility = ON
    5. exporting the full document with bleed fails

  2. The 'xx7 layer' does Not need to be rasterized
    1. delete the 'Unsharp Mask' adjustment on 'xx7 layer'
    2. toggle the 'Color Balance Adjustment' OFF at the artboard level (not the one on the 'xx7' layer)
      1. the artboard level 'Color Balance' adjustment can be deleted, but toggling visibility is enough to trigger the issue
    3. exporting the full document with bleed succeeds
    4. toggle the 'Color Balance' adjustment layer ON
    5. exporting the full document with bleed fails

It seems the 'Unsharp Mask' and 'Color Balance' adjustment layers are the culprits.
