HobbsLane Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Hello, I purchased Photo v2 today after using the trial a couple of weeks ago. During the trial I had zero issues and the software ran without issue. However since activating it crashes when I attempt to open any file. I am on Windows 11 24H2. Hardware is an 9800X3D, 5080, 32GB RAM. I have: Updated to the most recent version of Photo. Confirmed my GPU drivers are up to date. Attempted to open with hardware acceleration both on and off. Launching while holding Ctrl to reset the factory settings. A full uninstall and reinstall of the software Unlinking my online account from the software The software locks up and stops responding and I have to force close it with task manager as soon as I open any file. Tested with affinity photo documents and simple jpgs, from both the SSD the software is installed on and a second HDD. No crash reports are generated. Any advice? I'd like to solve the issue if possible before resorting to just refunding the software. Quote

Staff stokerg Posted April 10 Staff Posted April 10 Hi @HobbsLaneand Welcome to the Forums, While there is a know issue with the Nvidia 50 series GPUs as linked to by @Ron P., you should still be able to open an image. Could you try the advise on this Support Article and then see if you still have the issue? Quote
