Parn Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I would like the program have AI noise reduction in Affinity photos to reduce the working time. Quote
GarryP Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Welcome to the forums @Parn Can you explain what you would hope to achieve with this and how the result/workflow would differ from the existing Denoise filters (both Live and non-Live)? If you can give an example image that exhibits the kind of noise which the existing Denoise filters cannot handle to your satisfaction then that might help people to understand more about what your request was for. Parn Posted April 2 Author Posted April 2 I would appreciate the implementation of AI technology to minimize noise in both JPEG and RAW files prior to utilizing the Live Denoise filter for additional modifications. Images captured at elevated ISO settings on my smartphone and camera often exhibit noise. When processing numerous photographs, employing AI-driven noise reduction can significantly enhance image quality, as the objective is to achieve minimal noise in the final output. I lack proficiency in photo editing, so I am seeking assistance from AI tools. Thank you. GarryP 1 Quote

I develop all my Photos in DxO PL8. You can simply see the difference in less noise in high ISO shots, better highlight recovery and a lot more details. Of course, it would have been nice to have that in Affinity Photo so you only would have to work in one program. But to be honest, it's not much bother or extra work to send the photos I develop in PL to AP. Parn 1 Quote
