I am printing an 8" x 10" rectangle on 8.5" x 11" paper. When printed, the width of the rectangle is exactly 8", but the length is 9 15/16". The print scale is 100%. I am using an HP LJ 4201dn.

Does anyone know why this might be and if there is a remedy?

Thanks in advance.

@steve.abq It's not something I can replicate using the printers we have. Have you tried exporting to PDF and printing that to see if the shapes size is exact?

I know some printers can have default margins setup, it's worth checking the print options/drivers just in case.
