New ArtBoard name doesn’t take until reloaded

I can’t find a solution to this problem.

If I rename an artboard in the layers panel, the name doesn’t happen until I close then reopen the document.

Surely there is a better way?

It works reliably for me - after changing the name in the Layers panel, the description of the corresponding artboard immediately changes.
Have you tried Zoom out and in?

Thanks. Hmmm, I see. It doesn’t change unless I then take another action. Zoom etc.

but that’s a bit better anyway. Thanks.
