hugo bertrand
Hello! A quick doubt, whats the difference between adding a new layer and adding a new pixel layer? Im looking all over the internet, can't find anything. and how to you change the fill color of a new layer? I create a new layer, I use the fill tool, and up there in the left hand corner I choose fill, solid and it goes to white without changing colours when I move the colouring wheel. And when Im choose Fill linear for instance, it does let me change the color. Is there a bug?
Staff MEB Posted July 27, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 27, 2016 A Layer is a generic container for everything else (all object/layer types) including pixel layers. A pixel layer is a generic container for pixel data only. It's only used when you want to edit raster data at a pixel level (like manipulating/editing pixel selections, applying filters, painting with brushes etc). Assuming you are talking about a pixel layer, yes there's a bug when you select a solid fill colour. This is already logged.
