Hello,
I have an issue with Affinity Photo layer effects. When I try to adjust the effects or check the box of specific effect, it unchecks or resets values back to its original position. I work aorund this issue with using Designer - for example a shadow on a logo: I create the effects in Designer and then copy and paste it to Photo. It works like that but in Photo the effects are unadjustable.
I have turned off hardware acceleration and I don't think I am using a wrong layer since those same effects work just fine in Designer. Does anyone have a solution? Thank you.

Can you upload a Photo document where the effects are unadjustable?

Hi @ronnieVB,

Layer effect parameters cannot be adjusted in embedded documents, this is a known issue on Windows currently logged with the developers that I've bumped with your report.

As a workaround, if you switch the policy from embedded to linked, you should find the FX can be adjusted in the linked file.
