A minor bug. If I use a mouse as my input device, the smudge brush seems to sample and stamp colour (or transparency in transparent areas) when single-clicking with the mouse. Note, however, if the mouse button is held in and the brush is dragged then the colour stamp does not appear. This single-click behaviour doesn't occur with my drawing display and stylus.

An issue raised in this thread ("Smudge tool leaves stamp marks on click ") has now been reported to the developers by the testing team (Ref: AF-6409). Thank you very much for reporting this issue to us.

The issue "Smudge tool leaves stamp marks on click " (REF: AF-6409) has been fixed by the developers in the latest beta build (2.6.3.3273). The fix is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Affinity Info Bot to notify us.
