Checkmate
Hi there, I may be totally missing something here but how do I edit the dimensions of a shape without affecting the items I've 'Pasted Inside'. I effectively only want to slightly reveal more of a photo I've cropped inside a rectangle, but selecting the parent layer and pulling the edge handles just stretches the photo too. I'd normally use the node tool, but this doesn't seem to select the parent layer.
Staff MEB Posted July 27, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 27, 2016 Hi Checkmate, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Select the parent element in the Layers panel then check Lock Children in the context toolbar. You can then edit the parent without affecting the children layers.
