David Battistella Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Let's say I have a recurring word in a document. Like Amen, for example. Each time this word appears I would like it to be in italics. I have created a TEXT STYLE for this purpose. It there a way that this process can be batched or automated and applied to the whole document. Find and replace a text style based on a word search. Could it also work with a series of words "All the best" as an example. Any insights might be helpful Thank you David Quote
GarryP Posted March 19 Posted March 19 It would have been better if you had asked this in the appropriate “Questions” section of the forums rather than in the “Resources” section of the forums as the “Resources” section is for people sharing resources for others to use rather than asking questions. No harm has been done, but posting questions in the “Questions” section is often likely to get you an answer more quickly. A moderator might move this thread for you so there’s no need to duplicate this elsewhere. Quote
David Battistella Posted March 19 Author Posted March 19 Thanks so much for your feedback. It wasn't given as a drop down option when I tried to start the thread. Perhaps an oversight on my part. Quote
GarryP Posted March 19 Posted March 19 That’s easy to overlook and you’re not the first to not see it. (Serif are aware that it’s not obvious and could be made to be more so.) When selecting a forum section, for example to find the relevant Questions section, you need to open the “Affinity Support & Questions” part of the menu (see image, icon highlighted in red) and then select the required section (see image, Desktop section highlighted in blue).
