WAS Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I was planning on upgrading to v2, but I needed to do some simple edits to a few photos real quick. To my astonishment, I find that Affinity Photo v1 is straight removed from the Microsoft Store to promote v2 exclusively. First red flag. So I download Affinity Photo v1 from the website, and go to activate it. To find the control panel has also been changed to exclusively cater to v2 as well with a "V2" branded Licenses & Downloads section, second red flag. So I head into Downloads & Product Keys. In Downloads & Product Keys it only lists all the bonus content that I received purchasing a perpetual license to V1. But no V1 license anywhere. Naturally it's not in V2 folder where it's just a trial I used previously. Third red flag. I couldn't possibly think of spending money on a company with such wild neglect for it's user base and product management. I paid for a lifetime perpetual license. Where is it? What's really going on? Quote
