After using Time Machine to transfer from Macbook Pro to Macbook Air neither AP or AD displays images in main window

Recommended Posts

HI

I need some help have been using AD and AP the Appstore versions on a Macbook Pro 2011 for some time but have recently using a time machine backup moved everything to a Macbook Air early 2015 model. Today I tried to open a jpg image with AP (1.4.2) and while the image shows up in the navigator panel bottom right can get nothing to display in main window have tried clicking zoom to fit still nothing. Then I started AD (1.4.2) and tried download and open one of the sample images and again nothing displays on main window.

So I then deleted both applications and re-installed from App Store but I still get the same issues.

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is.

Regards Chris

Hi Chris,

Please could you try going to Affinity Photo ▸ PreferencesPerformance  and uncheck Use hardware OpenGL. If this is already unchecked then please check it. This should hopefully solve your issue :)

I hope this helps
