AFAIK, all features available via a right-click are built-in & no others can be "turned on."

To change the size of a brush, you can use the [ & ] keys (English keyboards), which allows realtime changes as you paint.

Also, refer to the status bar for other brush parameters you can change by using combinations of modifier keys & clicks.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thanks, however the & symbol doesn't seem to work on my MAC keyboard.

Assuming you have a US English Apple keyboard, if neither key does anything not just in Affinity but also in other apps (like the above seems to suggest) then it may be defective.

& is the ampersand meaning And. It doesn't do anything.

I suspect @OldHickory30 was trying to type "[ & ]" but neither of those two keys are working.

Windows only: In tutorials etc you may find references to adjusting brushes with the right mouse button in conjunction with the left mouse button and dragging. Some people found this "juggling" with mouse buttons quite difficult, so now, in the latest update (2.6), use of the right mouse button has been replaced with keyboard modifiers.

Appreciate the heads up. Hopefully Affinity rethinks that methodology. I use a programmable mouse that I had configured for Capture one and PF.

Use to really help with workflow. Should at the very least be given the option.

@OldHickory30, are you able to type anything with the [ & ] keys or not?

Yep, the "&" key works just fine, even tried adding "&" text in AP, no issue.

It is not the "&" key I am asking about. It is the two square bracket keys (plural) Can you use either key in a reply, like this:

[ is a key on the keyboard. ] is also a key on the keyboard.
