iY8Zaj4B Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Hi, I have a strange issue with the overlay paint tool in the develop persona in Affinity Photo 2 with portrait oriented RAWs. When turning off the lense correction and using the overlay paint tool, it starts painting at the wrong position, miles away from my cursor. When turning it back on, it paints at the right position. I have created a video to show the issue. It looks like the mouse position gets mirrored or so. It only seems to happen for pictures in portrait. I cannot say if that was different before, because it was the first time for me using the tool - I am using Affinity Photo 2 latest version (Mac App Store) - I can reproduce it with a different RAW image, however must be in portrait orientation - It happens for a new document as well - There is no external hardware connected, I painted with the touch pad Maybe it is me, but I also don't know how to exit the overlay paint mode without clicking "develop" - choosing other tools does not seem to exit the overlay paint mode because the Basic options (etc.) are still locked down like when using the overlay paint tool. Hangman Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Hi @iY8Zaj4B, It's the same issue with the previous version, 2.5.7, but I can't immediately see the issue logged anywhere... It's not unique to ARW files, I see the same issue with NEF, CR2 and CR3 files on both Mac and Windows...
