The alignment handles are not shown depending on size of the object on canvas. This size depends on zoom level.

this renders the tool useless for the main reason where I need it when moving objects while zoomed out to get proper alignment, to avoid accidentally resizing it instead of moving.

i don’t understand that 1800% zoom level and a layer covering 1/10 of the full screen height is rated „too small“ to use alignment handles.

Settings were identical except tool level for both screenshots 

To give a different perspective:

as requested gazillion times we need more capable lock options for move tool. 

  1. allow only movement of layer, do not change size, rotation, shear
  2. allow only size change of layer, to not move 
  3. Hard Lock aspect ratio (no overrule by key etc)
  4. hard lock whole pixel alignment to chosen anchor point (that choice is critical to have!)
