I have seen others are able to do this so I am not sure if this is a bug or a Mac OS feature request. I am coming from Adobe Illustrator where this has never been a thing on Windows or Mac. I really hope this can addressed soon in the next update as there needs to be parity between operating systems.

Hi @RWhite,

This has never been possible on Mac, only the Windows version has this option, though I'm unsure why or whether it's just a limitation of the Mac UI itself?

Do staff members ever reply in this forum, or can I put my name to a feature request. I can’t believe other Mac users aren’t slightly irritated from the lack of UI flexibility as well, It seems such a small  request in the grand scheme of things. To place one panel next to another. Also to pull the tools panel out and change from one column to two without needing to go to a command in the menu. I hope version 3 will address some of these shortcomings.

Thanks MikeTo, I have added my request to both. As a new user (from Adobe) I find it really strange that this is even a thing. Hopefully the developers can add this small change as others have also mentioned this discrepancy. It makes the user experience much worse in terms of mouse and arm movement.
