Hello,

This is my first post here.

I'm running into a fairly major issue with Affinity at the moment with the latest update.

If I delete a single page in a Facing Pages Document, it completely ruins the layout of everything beneath.

See prior to deletion, the layout is good.

After deleting a page, the layout gets completely messed up, with all the columns becoming "mirrored" and switching sides on the page, as well as elements on the page also doing the same.

I'm assuming this is something to do with the latest update as I was never running into that issue prior.

Is this a setting I can turn off?

Thank you!

Hi @evanfrance,

Before deleting the page in question, go to Page Move Options under the Pages panel Hamburger menu and deselect Anchor Towards Spine...

That's no problem at all, I'm glad that resolved the issue for you... the option has tripped up a few users, and there have been suggestions for this option to be unchecked by default, which I think perhaps makes a lot of sense...

Leaving it unchecked would make sense to me too, but then again it just tripped me haha.

It was not something that existed prior to recent updates, and was a really unexpected change.

Thank you again!
